Once upon a time, there was a woman named Jane and a woman named Jenny. Jane ran a doll hospital. On a dark and stormy night, Jenny stumbled upon the doll hospital’s doorstep, hoping to escape the rain. Jane invited her inside, and like that, Jenny was smitten. She stayed the night. Then another. Then another. Two girls had never been so in love.

But that was many storms ago. Jane is gone now, an unspeakable tragedy that’s left Jenny to operate the doll hospital alone—well, alone if you don’t count the pile of broken dolls lying around, waiting to be fixed…

Told through two timelines and featuring eight characters (Jenny, Jane, and six dolls), Jenny’s Doll Hospital is an experimental chamber musical about devotion, brokenness, and what it takes to heal.
